I turned mine into an optional headmaster, which I 100% think he was intended to be or not even a headmaster at all.

I've also seen people remove his ship mode to decent effect, but I kind of like him being a triplechanger.

I also removed the headmaster gimmick from the equation entirely and put the cavity in his chest to work as it was pretty obviously intended. Now if I can just put the cannon on the side of his arm and cover the holes in his forearms he could be half ways decent.

I took the headmaster removal out of the equation and just made the whole neck assembly rotate. Now he's an optional headmaster which I think is the way it should be.
