>>5965196The mp11 mold is still far from perfect.
Aside from qc issues that are assembly faults like mp ramjet I noticed the hasbro seekers are on the decline, my mp thundercracker is literally perfect, smooth but tight enough to function as intended and I bought him second hand, acidstorm holds uyp second best because I bought him loose and shipping him from another country.
My starscream on the other hand which is the only hasbro mp I bought brand new is showing signs, while stuff like the leg requiring almost 2 people to pull apart from jet mode could be an assembly issue the fact that the plastic bit on the right side of his jet canopy which makes his robot chest has too much plastic on one side meaning I have to force the entire chest assembly apart JUST to slide it in or out.
My theory which may apply to takara vs hasbro qc myths, takara may be willing to change molds more often which will cost them in the long run but keep the toys free from mold degradation, while hasbro may run the molds down until you can see the molds beginning to crack.
Same factories, yes, same toys, yes, and yes they do replace said molds with fresher duplicates, I just honestly suspect hasbro may prefer to keep existing molds going alot longer, seeing how they put out alot more product to meet world wide demand but for less.
