The criticism of SC's headsculpt and paint is well-deserved. It doesn't look quite right, but then neither does the SHF. Whichever appeals to you more is a matter of personal taste. I like the SC more, it looks like a real person, and is much more flattering in hand than in those awful promo shots.
SC's body is also much more voluptuous and curvy, with a tiny waist and wide hips. I really do like the chunky, muscle-builder aesthetic; but then I also am aroused by the art of R. Crumb. I can see how the somewhat masculine look would be a turn-off for many.
Really, the best option is to get both if you can and have SC Chun be a giantess, smothering your other figures with her rippling thighs.
