It wasn't due to QC issues but mostly them trying to tweak the proportions of all 3 modes so they'll look right. e.g. They tried to integrate the Bike-girl's hands into the transformation but they would had to make them disproportionately small so their current plan is to omit the hands from the bike transformation completely (partsforming). It's in "development hell" for lack of a better term.
