What can I do to prevent pic related from happening when weathering Bandai Star Wars kits? The guy seems to have doused the kit in white spirit so perhaps I can get away with simply being a bit more careful since I assume that odourless enamel thinner is a bit kinder to the plastic. Still, I'm considering priming the kit completely disassembled or gluing parts that don't need it in order to prevent the paint from seeping in and damaging the plastic. Thoughts?
