>>8084717>>8084724I definitely agree, it also feels as though any time they had the opportunity to make something that would fit the style of the line, they'd absolutely bypass it. Maul is a perfect example, he gets sliced in half along his waist, only to later return with robot legs. The fact they made episode 2 maul feels like such a smack in the face considering they could have easily made bionic maul.
With characters like Luke or Obi-Wan I'm more lenient. They're big names in the franchise, but it seems like they avoided aliens and robots like the fuckin plague. The troopers and mandos were neat, but you can only buy so many before you start getting bored of the same "helmet man" designs. Grievous was a step in the right direction, but then they never did anything as neat as him again. Now the one that really gets me is Chewbacca, why in god's name would you try to apply the aesthetic of CCBS to chewie? He's 100 percent hair!
