Alphamon was just being sold at a third of its MSRP by the company that produced it, so they obviously were not being bought compared to the other characters.
>>8612976Unpopular relative to the poster Digimon, anyways. Alphamon in particular seemed to fare the worst, the Dorumon cape looks pretty bad, and it doesn't have any nostalgic value to casual fans.
