I think they did not take into consideration the level of tolerance in their molding machine in Vietnam as everything was fine with CAD and grey scale prototype.
Probably by the time they have a working production sample in factory it was already too late and they just ran with it.
Still the tabs on the shoulder are way too short to have a strong connection even if everything fits perfectly.
