>>9735617I suppose that is one good thing to come out of Lego's decade long quest for inclusiveness (girl money).
I just think it's weird how noone wants to talk about why the original, gender-neutral Lego we've all come to love wasn't connecting with a female audience. Boys are always slowly getting pushed out of their own clubs, even when they never intentionally set out to start them in the first place.
>Watch out, boys.First it's a problem that not enough girls are into Lego, both for profits and for the overall image of the brand, so Lego spends millions in market research to find out what girls want, and now they're caught in this awkward position, trying to find a PC balance between making what's seen as sexist stereotyping, and what actually sells.
Girls want to play house, not build Lego. Lego knows this. It's cool we get a bunch of new items and smaller detail stuff, I just resent the fact boys have to "Watch Out" and make room for girls, yet again.
Lego, Boyscouts, STEM, sport, vidya gaming. Boys can't have shit.
