Me and gf were in california, these had just released and I wanted them but didn't buy yet, came across them in a toy store randomly during visited. Dropped 200 bucks for them. GF and her friend thought I was crazy for such an "impulse" buy. I was going to buy 2 sets regardless, just did it then instead of online later.
10+ years later and that girlfriend is long gone + cost me a ton of money (birthdays, christmases, etc), but my turtles are still with me and worth a ton now (opened one for display, other is still sealed)
