WFC/FOC felt like its own thing combining the original G1 aesthetic with a more alien one i.e. swept back streamline alt modes, glowing accents, lack of cockpit to make it seem more like fast travel as opposed to being a stand in for an actual vehicle. The newer siege designs either range from "we couldn't think of an actual mode so here he is an a yoga pose" like Soundwave or just futuristic concept car looks like Sideswipe. Megatron is probably one of the only designs I like out of all of them though but I get it when people say that siege doesn't have too much of an identity. Pic related just feels like such a more creative design than the Siege version which just feels like "Optimus with floodlights".
