the Stronghold is okay. I like the joints used for the modularity gimmick; they ratchet, and feel quite stable however many of the standard pin joints are fairly loose for a pack-fresh item. the plastic quality is in the low-upper tier of toy ABS; slightly brittle, but solid. the transformation is parts-forming one (the waist unit needs to be removed and then reattached) so ymmv. the pilot figure has a wide range of articulation, but the majority of it's ball joints are very loose. also, the orange paintis very dark in comparison to the product shots on the packaging.
the design works well at this size, but a few quality issues hold it back from being good. I'm not sure if any of the releases stand out on they're own merits in this line (unlike the 1:18 acid rain toys), but if there was a release that does it's the Stronghold (I haven't opened the Chapel or Speeder yet). If anyone is interested in purchasing these off of me let me know.
