(I always pick out the old lesney productions superfast era matchbox ones, wizzwheels and older hotwheels that are more rare here in europe. 80s and 90s era stuff is often really fun and nostalgic too, i have a lot less attachment to the 2000+ hotwheels you see everywhere, i enjoyed them back in the day but they don't have the lasting appeal to me, too slick and hip. From time to time you see other lesser known brands that are also rad)
I guess i'm more wabi-sabi about it than some other dudes. Occassionally i'll pick up a brand new one, but that's rare. Maybe once or twice a year. Finding stuff like
