Its not like Hasbro where fanboys are on the design team. Its just a property they have and mainly care of the profits from cheap movie crap.
I'm not trying to kiss Hasbro's ass here, but even in the Kenner days the license was treated better. They were competitive and, at least with their Batman license, made sme top-tier figures for the market at the time. I'm not going to pretend these figures held up or look great by today's standards, but considering what they were competing with, there was a sense they were actually trying.
