We can't do anything about it, but that doesn't mean the line will 'collapse.' It does suck the prices have increased while QC has generally decreased, but only thing that will make them stop production or become more selective is if everyone boycotts.
And for the record, rehashes of the same character/reusing molds have always been their cheap money makers since forever. See Haruhi, Lucky Star, and Billy.
