>>6642720Nice haul! Good to hear you re-secured Unit 02. I love Brocken myself, and while I don't have Saturn yet I will get him eventually (if only for the police car, haha).
>is the red on the shoulder armor on the ANIME GM painted? Was about to reflexively answer "yes," but thought I'd double-check just to be sure. It looks/feels like it's painted, but on close inspection, I think there's a possibility it has a matte top-coat instead (feels just like the matte finish on the Ka Signature Barzam Kai). To be frank, the finish seems too clean and uniform for standard RD paint, haha. What also threw me off was the finish on the shoulder armor's sprue marks; they don't quite seem as if they're painted.
>>6642930>>6643012I can get where anon is coming from. As a toy, the RDs are easier to mess around with due to their size and having lots of accompanying in-scale accessories/labors to play with. With the Yamato's crazy secondary market price, you'll definitely get more bang for your buck getting the RDs if you just want some Labors to play with. Personally, I haven't messed with my Yamato in ages, partially out of fear of damaging it. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful, super-solid toy, but when I see figures like
>>6643012 it just makes me think "what if," heh.
>>6643241>beam rifle mounted on hip armorIs that a new feature? Also, I love the mace. Thanks for sharing the in-hand thoughts, anon. My interest in grabbing the proto has definitely gone up.
