In general though you're not building Star Wars sets here, so whip out some colors to break up that dark grey box. The roof is okay for now but American box cars tend to have more going for them than the smoother European style ones Lego makes in their sets.

Passenger cars do since they have electric and plumbing going on, but not something to hold some cows/chickens.
It's a good start, but the color is really bringing it down. Even if it were a mix of light/dark grey it would be a bit better.
