>>5991956>>5992010I'll be honest, as a huge Venom fan, I didn't completely hate the retcon. Sure, them being basically green lantern rings that can be corrupted is dumb, but I like the idea of them not being evil. Something called a symbiote actually just being a parasite always seemed silly to me.
And I know a lot of people don't like spaceknight, but it really wasn't a bad comic. The first 6 issues aren't amazing or anything, and are definitely nowhere near as good as his original series, but I thought it was cool for Flash to be the big hero he always wanted to be, if only for a little while.
The 7th issue starts getting really good though, and it introduces Mania as a major plot point.
Thompson really did the best he could with what Bendis gave him, and it's painfully obvious from the last issue that he never really wanted to write about him in space, and just wanted to continue Agent Venom.
