Decided to grind out the castings used for lamps on this thing and drop an LED in it.
Now, I'm kinda fucking stupid. I went a bit too low with the mill piece I was using to do a reasonably neat job of it inside and breached the wall ever so slightly. So I'll have to use Milliput and a good coat of paint on it to stop light bleeding. The lamp's being held in place with the LED wire here, it's not soldered back on yet.
However I'm happy with the initial results, the front lamp was a lot harder to do because I couldn't route the wire straight through a hole, I had to make a T junction hole and push it through, but it was successful, a lot more so than I was expecting in all honesty.
