>>7657231Yeah and it doesn't help that thanks to HT and their licensed shit success, driving costs up sky-high, the hobbyists are no doubt being priced out of their hobby, meaning less customs, more expensive loose parts than now.. and it feels like all that will be left in the end of 1/6 is Hot Toys level expensive, licensed capeshit and movie crap where articulation, kitbashing, customizing and posing ability is secondary to perfection of accuracy and likeness ultimately sacrificing posing freedom with seamless skin and reduced articulation, etc.. to the point that you might as well buy a statue instead if that's what you're after
it's all so tiresome, now you have 1/12 figures coming out from these companies because even they realize the prices they charge are too high, but instead of lowering them they just offer something completely different than the scale which drew you to the hobby in the first place, that feels like a real kick in the gut
