Just make it a coming-of-age hero's journey that follows an adolescent Orion Pax as he discovers his home planet's mystical secrets, and at some point he inevitably becomes Optimus Prime.
Most importantly, use minimalistic character designs and make the tie-in toyline on par with TF Animated.
