>>8438471I would just use tape and masking fluid, if stopping and cutting to fit the details is too much for you then consider pic related. It says for curves but basically its just flexible masking tape and pic related shows the point of using it, use it to define the edges and fill with putty/masking fluid/bigger tape.
You can lay down the putty and with a ruler and a blade cut the stripes but they will barely keep the perfect shape while putting them or if you take too much time to paint (edges then to "expand" after a while).
