This fossil may not seem like proof on it's own, but the feathers of this Microraptor are so well preserved that scientists found microscopic structures that are practically identical to the structures in modern day bird feathers that result in color.
The result is that Microraptors are determined to have been iridescent black like ravens. This is the one photo you set yourself up with your argument goal lines that makes ALL dinosaurs not able to be colorful.
However, I will be generous and throw you a bone. There is another feathered dinosaur uncovered after that microraptor specimen that has those structures preserved. It however was a far closer match to hummingbirds with the
greens and reds.
Unfortunately thus far, the only two examples of coloration preservation in non feathered dinos are earth tones.
