Mantis and Moondragon are the most essential IMO, then Phyla. Frankly, I couldn't care less about Bug. He always felt superfluous to me as the GOTG were full of wisecrackers and green people anyway, and Bug never did much of note. Same with Jack. Sure, he was fun, but ultimately a blip in the cosmic scheme of things, especially since his special destiny was never elaborated on. I want the major players.
But as much as I love the modern GOTG, this wave is what I really want. The only reason Aleta is more modern than the rest is because I hate pretty much every single one of her old costumes.
