So, even if we take out $250 for rent/food/etc (Keep in mind he lives with his parents), that's $200 a month that he could use to buy toys to review. And yet he keeps reviewing sponsored shit week after week.
That's probably one of the big reasons why He's burning out, even if he doesn't realize it- He HAS to review the shit he gets from sponsorships. So there's less room for him to review things he genuinely enjoys and wants to talk about. Remember the $300 Godzilla figure he got in the fan mail box? The Ultimate Madoka and Devil Homura Figmas? He hasn't reviewed the Godzilla, and the Figmas weren't even in his Madoka Figma display that he briefly showed off in the latest video. It's a fucking shame.
I'm also honestly glad he decided to stop reading every letter in the mailbox videos- I was annoyed by the decision at first, but then I realized that half the shit he gets is from 6-year-olds with Palsy anyways. It's still frustrating to see him get tons of free shit and basically shrug it off, though. It seems like as the mail videos have gone on, he's become more desensitized to the things people are giving him. He seemed so genuinely happy for everything in the first video, and now he's shrugging off a $20 Transformer like it's nothing.
I used to love him, but now it's so absurdly frustrating to watch his videos. I hope he gets his shit together and fixes his entire format, but there's not much of a chance of that happening now.
