Yeah that's pretty cringey. I don't really understand why the parents are acting like they can't relate to super heroes only because of their skin color. What kind of impression does that leave on the kid? I don't think the kids care at all about skin tone besides Sun-Man being a black super hero (which to be honest isn't that common) which means a new hero to play with. You can only have so many He-Man variations (imo, I know others here would disagree). I think its funny they are ignoring Clamp Champ though. Poor guy.
I guess as long as Mattel doesn't start replacing He-Man with Sun-Man I'm all for more Sun-Man and other past sister lines coming out.

When (if) I ever make figures, I'll probably go as a means to advertise and learn from people there. From what I've seen online the place looks like 90% tacky art pieces of pop culture stuff. The other 10% original content and creative interesting stuff looks cool though.

Although you're exaggerating, I noticed about 80% of the toy junk I buy is from Japan or indie toy makers these days. There's maybe two lines I meticulously follow and collect, but even then it's hard to find them in stores (because stores rarely stock them anyway). eBay is the most dependable place for toys these days it seems. They are mini figure toys too, so I have no idea why stores can't stock them easily.

1. Is toy collecting/playing common with your coworkers? If so, is it frowned upon to bring in non-Hasbro toys to work or anything like that?
2. Do the licensed toy brand teams get any power in what characters they can use? Like for example, does Disney go like 'your only allowed to make an Ewok and a TIE Fighter', or does the Hasbro team get to pick and choose which characters they want? Or maybe a mix of both?
