>>10600694Thank you for the compliment on the paint job. I know my Buck isn't screen-accurate and that my painting is a bit rough, but I had a lot of fun working on this guy over the past few days. I still need to give him a sepia wash to try and highlight his sculpted details as well as reduce the brightness of his colors and then paint his claws and teeth, but he's almost finished. At least until I get the replacement feet, but who knows how long that'll take?
All that being said, I would have preferred if the Gate had succeeded. At least then I could get the Buck and try to sell off the Gate, Car, and Kids. As it stands right now, I'm going to end up spending $150 on this Buck and that doesn't include my paints and airbrush since I already owned those.
>$40 for the HC Tyrannosaurus>$45 for replacement head>$20 for glass eyes>Eventually, another $45 when Syrett Tech's articulated feet finally restockI really wish Mattel hadn't been so stupid with the crowdfund. Their Buck wasn't perfect but neither is mine and it still would have been nice to have.
