Punk and Colt had a big falling out over money spent on lawyers for said court case. 8 years later Punk joins AEW where Colt worked. In the lead up to a title match his opponent Adam Page sort of possibly alludes to Punk's drama with Colt in a promo. Punk doesn't take kindly to that because he legit hates Colt. Punk wins the title, but gets injured in the match and has to give it up. A couple of months later after he's healed he wins the title again. In an media scrum after the PPV, he goes off on Colt Cabana, completely unprompted. He then goes off on Adam Page, and the EVPs of AEW - Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. None of it is storyline shit, it's all him just burying the people he works with and for. All while sitting next to the president of the company, making him look like a joke. Then afterwards there are reports that he got into a legit fight with the EVPs that he threw the first punch in. One of his friends bit Omega. Everyone involved got quietly suspended. Also he got injured again in that second title match. I reiterate this is all real life shit and not some storyline BS.
