In my personal headcanon universe, the King's knights are all themed after different animals (which lego characters and CMFs kind of have done anyway) and the sole Wolf Pack warrior was promoted to a ranger-like forest defender role.
And a few years back, he got a unit of his own.
He's definitely still got the smallest force in the kingdom though, so, you and me, we'll have to continue to wait.
