First up is Bandai's S.H.Figuarts (2009 - Present)
The line started off with terrible sculpts and underwhelming articulation. There was a huge leap in quality in 2013 and two teams were released with both good sculpts and articulation (Smile and DokiDoki). But as the sculpts continued to get better, articulation suffered due to the extravagant designs and hard plastic hindering movement.
