If you wanted to do it, you'd have to heat warp the mirror stem 20-45° (do actual measurements if you're gonna try, that's just an eyeball from me) and sink a fresh hole into that panel with a drillbit. Basically you'd want the angle set so that they have just enough clearance to rotate all the way in 180° above the A-pillar, but as close as you can get. There's bit of hollowness in his abdomen they would fill out some more as well. He's actually hollow through the middle, but 99% of viewing angles aren't going to betray that fact.
