>>10126785Part of the problem is that most western toy collectors are nostalgiafags. With Street Fighter, they only want SF2 characters. To them, SF ended in 1994. Every place online I've tried to talk about SF toys, I get some asshole telling me that non-SF2 characters killed the line and they won't support it unless they're getting their OG12.
The other problem is most fighting game fans don't care about non-game stuff. Try talking about fighting game products (toys, statues, OSTs, comics/manga, etc.) on FGC Twitter, Discord, r/Kappa or even /fgg/ and you'll be laughed out the room. They'll do that if you try to talk about lore. To them, the only things that matter are tier lists, buffs/nerfs, and tourny results.
We're just too small to move the needle.
