I've been wondering what the little folding side panels on the side of white noise's head were, and it turns out they're on a little automorph gimmick that just pushes them out ten degrees per side to give the head a little more definition. That's it, an entire self-contained mechanism to make the head look slightly more round. It's even got a dedicated hinge for tilting side to side, this thing is absolutely decadent. IIRC the same guy designed the parrot and beetle? He can do no wrong.
