Here's something I tried out: Since the guard's emblem on the IR spotlight cover is a sticker on the original vehicles I blasted it with a glosscoat, then masked the decal part before covering the rest with the normal semigloss. It's barely noticeable since the tank is semigloss to begin with, but IMO it's a nice extra effect. Though it probably would have been simpler to just apply that decal as the very last step.
