Like I said for me that picture is pretty close to the ideal, but if I had to put it to words

Leave unique details to their expressions, bandana color and maybe some small unique details on the belts and paintjobs>very dark earthy colors, darker shades for the bandana colors>shells should be prominent and bulky as fuck>preferably a "realistic" approach to the paintjob and the texture. Blatantly somehow reptilian skin, a detailed beat up shell, individual teeth but white eyes>and lastly articulate as fuck, these characters are supposed to be ninjas so do them actual justice for onceThe way they appeared in Injustice 2 is also pretty close to perfection, kind of looks like someone threw the 1990 movie turtles into a blender with the 80s cartoon ones
