i-i think we can all agree that we have different tastes on shit like that. I'm okay with the megazordy shit when it's a piloted robot, but I'm a lot less okay with it for intelligent beings, because at a certain point, what IS this character? What and who is he if he swaps a bunch of his usual parts with someone else?
What's more, unless it's a VERY magicky kinda sentai show, I don't want the parts just ... flyin around like crazy. I'm lookin at you, Zoids 'Fuzors.' Hasbro fucked with you, didn't they. Previous anime had an elaborate armoring-up sequence that they could recycle the footage from different angles and save money, where a bunch of little robot arms removed the old armor and placed on the new pieces. That was rad. a bird zoid exploding into pieces that all land on the liger is not.
