The 99th iteration of Hollywood Evil Techbro and Athena, who was basically henchwoman promoted to main villain. She never really felt threatening all. They don't even compare to the likes of MCP, Sark, Clu and Rinzler.
Also, not having a cameo of Tron when Ares was in the original grid was bullshit.
