>>11285593>Isn't this thing a better fit for the bjd thread in /jp/? It's resin and costs a small fortune... bjds are strung with an elastic, that is not. It's a (shitty) 1/6 fashion doll. First wave of G1 had elastics.
I even think if you post that doll in /jp/ , you'd get laughed at. lol
A lot of dolls like Integrity dolls cost a fortune.
>I can't imagine handing one to a child, resin is fairly sturdy but small bits like fingers break off readily. It's not a kid's toy. A lot of expensive fashion dolls are not for kids. MH G1 can't even withstand rough play.
>Having said that, given how broad that market is, I can't see these doing well, especially not for that price point.it's dead on arrival I believe.
But I must not gate keep a plus size body for any anons that want to rebody their doll.
Honestly we should stop the material autism. Phicen is a silicone body and has an internal skeleton.
as technology develops and 3d printers get more accessible, resin will get more normalized for fashion dolls.
There are 3d printed MH replacement parts out there, not just for accessories.
Saw people mod their g3 lagoona and gave her transparent hands from resin.
Maybe MGA will give us a more BJD doll one day, with diy eye kit. They're already playing with resin.
>>11285262no problem anon.
Glad to help you reunite with a nostalgic doll.
