I finally saw the movie, all that trouble for a fucking titan hero series? Did you found Turbo Man (the prop used in the movie) appealing as a kid?

The thing that made me like it as a kid was the shiny gold finish. The reflective gold sheen was super appealing to me. It still is considering my favorite figure I own is all a shiny gold.

I found the in universe lore around him and arnie's eventual "portrayal" of him more entertaining. Id rather a figure of arnie as turboman than a turboman proper at this point. keeping it to fictional toys however, I stilk drool over pic related. tom hanks' character is a dumb cunt for shitting on it so hard. im aware of the imaginext figure, but Id still like a proper giant ass skyscraper-bot. crazy that 3rd party transformers fans havent jumped on this boat yet.

Theres one 3d printable figure, but they made him so skinny it doesn't look like the original concept anymore.

Because it was THE TOY of the year, at CHRISTMAS.
Go find some footage of the brawls that broke out over Tickle-Me Elmos. Makes the fights over toilet paper at the start of lockdown look pathetic.

You bet your ass I wanted one of those after seeing the movie. Part of it I guess was falling for fictional hype, part of it was sort of like what the other guy in here said; it was shiny as hell and something about it was just very appealing.
I probably also liked it because I had a father that was rarely around in my life and I liked to pretend that I was the kid and it was my dad that gave a shit.
