I had a great smash collection, sadly I downsized a lot and regret it now. I have a dozen figures I need to buy back. Luckily, they just announced a Meta Knight reissue, so I can buy that again!

Sorry though, the WoN Donkey Kong you own looks like absolute ass. I own this doll from Takara and it works perfectly in a Smash display. Way better DK and it's like 25 years old.

My previous post was saying I had a Smash collection and downsized. It changed to a “video game collection”. I was not trying to say its still a Smash collection. I want to rebuild my smash collection, and if I did I would move out Red/Blue nendos for Red figma.

Here's my vidya shelf. Not necessarily a Smash display since I have a few characters not on the actual roster, but they're some of my favorite game characters so I don't give any fucks.

You have two options for this: the Jazwares line, or the Mattel line. I would say go for the Jazwares, but I’m heavily biased against Mattel.

Several characters, like Mega Man, have figures but not of the specific designs used in Smash so I don't blame people for substituting. If I were making a display I'd just go ahead and use the 4 Inch Nel based on his classic art, or even the D-Arts, rather than wait around for the Smash version to get anything other than an Amiibo.

I also have: Fox, Yoshi, Lucina, Mewtwo, Game & Watch, Dark Pit, Zero Suit Samus, Snake, Diddy, Ivysaur, Charizard, Lucario, Olimar, Mega Man, Greninja, Pac-Man, Bowser Jr, Ryu, Ken, Inkling, Isabelle, Incineroar, Plant, Joker & Steve.

I’m really excited for Dedede & Cloud next year, especially since Cloud is my main.

The problem with most of these is there are just too many characters in smash where if your a completionist it looks like cluttered shit. I think sticking to favorites is better, not to mention cheaper.
