Can anyone speak to the quality of NXEdge Style figures? I see most of their lineup seems to be Gundam and Mashin Hero Wataru with a few other offerings. I'm thinking of getting a Xi Gundam since I saw it discounted for $25 and wanted to know if it was worth it.

They are like Bandai's equivalent of figma, Revoltech, SAS, BA etc. Softer PVC pieces connected with hard plastic joints shared throughout the toyline. They're okay but not high quality like their RD or SHF which are part ABS sculpts. They're like between those and their capsule figures such as Gundam Forte and Ensemble.

I have all the Wataru ones including the exclusives. The quality is perfect, never had a single loose, missing, broken or mispainted parts but you have to keep in mind that most are pretty simple with little details and basic articulation which leaves very little room for fuckups.

NXES, RD and SHF use the exact same materials, they just feel "cheaper" because they have lots of smaller and hollow parts.

It's mostly PVC chunks though. Some ABS for weapons and thin parts (Not sure what joints are, probably POM). RD and SHF use a lot more ABS for the body parts. Gundam Universe is another cheaper line that's mostly PVC. The joints are simple hinges and ball joints and not the metal pins joints like RD and SHF. That's what I mean being figma like, lower tier engineering I guess you could say.

It's actually closer to $26, but Amazon. The same listing has Penelope for $44, as well. Both retail for almost $60.
