Actually, I remember they are having plans on making Blade Armor X during the time they revealed the prototypes for First Armor X and Axl. Simply put, it's not over yet.

And with how Kotobukiya is making more character model kits, any thought on what they can do next? The gates for potential lines are open, as I imagine the DagTectors from Brave Command Dagwon having kits from Kotobukiya besides just the usual mecha options.

Was genuinely confused why they didn't do this one first. It's always been my favorite X armor, a nice, clean design that's not too over the top.

Growing up I had a super basic Megaman figure. I think he was around 6" in height. This is the closest one I've found that looks right from my memory. A Jazwares 2004 Megaman.

Any of you guys know of any similar basic megaman figures from this time period?

That is pretty close as in the simplicity of it. I want to say mine was a bit more colorful, like the different shades of blues popped out more like in the pic I posted. The joints on my picture do not seem familiar though, pretty sure he didn't have knee joints. I appreciate the recommendation nonetheless.

Definitely in the ballpark but he looks a little short compared to my old one. I want to say he had little red bubbles/circles on the bottom of his feet as well. Sorry for the vagueness, this was so long ago. If it was any help I remember he had some loose ass joints

He was all matte paint, no shiny. I don't remember any accessories either, not saying that it didn't come with any but it would be a help in the search if I could remember any accessories he came with.

Other than the D-Arts and the old Mega Armor kit, what other figures of the Ultimate armor exist?

The D-Arts wasn't even the last Bandai Megaman figure. They put out that SHF Zero afterwards.

Depends on how nice you want it to look. They'll have big lines going down the limbs where the pieces connect that take a lot of work to get rid of if that bothers you but otherwise they're pretty easy and look good right out of the box.
If you've never built a kit before you might want to watch a lot of tutorials and practice on some cheap gunpla first though, the Koto kits are expensive and you wouldn't want to screw something up.

I had these toys when I was a kid, but ended up either trashing them or donating them. This had to have been about 15 years ago give or take. I got into Mega Man in 2013 and a year or 2 after that I connected it back to those toys I used to have. I had no idea what they were back then. In hindsight I wouldn't have tossed them but obviously there was no way to know back then.
