>>10034370I've been selling off an on there for about 15 years, and honestly, it gets worse with each passing day. Their fees are honestly higher than they've ever been, it feels like they change their interface every other month now to make things less intuitive, and I swear they somehow bury your listings if you're a small-time seller to the point that you don't get any views anymore.
I often price my shit under what a lot of the "recently sold" prices have gone for, and I barely get any views, let alone people actually buying. Now, I feel like weeks go by, and I get single-digit views, and barely any sales. On top of that, their managed payment system is kind of a hassle, and has some hypothetical problems with it, if you ever encounter shitty scammer buyers. You now have to attach your eBay account to a bank account, so there's no barrier between eBay and your money. You used to at least have Paypal as a buffer, but I worry that some buyer could scam you and fuck you over, so eBay just dips their fingers into your literal bank account without your knowledge.
Its been a slow burn of a bunch of problems piling up. I hear its even worse for new sellers, because they can hold your money for however long they want (though, I can't confirm this) so that sounds like ass, since I've heard all kinds of horror stories of things like that happening.
Your best bet might be to find somewhere else. Find groups, or Facebook pages for buying and selling what you've got locally, or /bst/s on other forums, or try other sites similar to eBay.
