For people who get a ton of product, like ML, there's only so much you can do if you want to display all of it. There are so many all you can really do is stand them straight or else they take up too much room.

What pisses me off more than shitty posing itself is when someone tries to humblebrag about his collection by photographing an entire shelf full of A-posed figures to make his collection seem as large and numerous as possible, but then give it shitty ego stroking bait captions like "I think I can't afford to buy any more" or "really, I honestly think I'm going to retire from this hobby at this point" because he expected people to respond by praising his collection and by extension him as some sort of Mr. Moneybags. Imagine trying to perform social climbing using fucking toys, but then again people like those are numerous and exist in every hobby ever.

He is great at posing if you've seen his reviews, the problem, is that he has TOO MUCH SHIT, at some point you can't do a cool pose, you have to settle for garbage.

Honestly selling stuff I no longer want is more of a hassle than it's worth. I almost never get anything worth while for my stuff and more often than not it's more effort than it's worth. I dunno. Then again I do feel like I'm starting to slow down with my collecting as my collection is feeling complete.

Sometimes it's a space issue, sometimes it's to keep them from warping like if you have a figure with soft plastic or something like a Storm Collectibles figure. But for the most part I think people are just unimaginative.
