Used to order through HLJ, Amiami and Manda until they suspended everything but DHL/FedEx. Now I just don't really order them or get them through BBTS.

There isn't really good options for us for anything anymore with how shit is so I've just accepted the $20ish flat rate shipping from BBTS for almost everything I order because ordering from japanese retailers isn't worth it when I need to pay $40-60 for shipping from them since EMS is still suspended. Also simply give up on getting P-Bandai shit and other exclusives. Soon as Bluefin stopped servicing us for no fucking reason, and until EMS resumes, you're just SOL.

I've just slowed collecting everything other than stuff I actively decide I need. Doesn't help that hasbro lines are all massively inflating in price. Before the EMS shutdown I basically stopped buying domestic because used shit on manda cost likewise to domestic.

I want to believe the situation will change but the dollar tanked another couple of percents the last week so lmao.

I'm probably just going to pay the difference at this point. I was looking into the Joytoy lines but it seems like the only ones selling them are Amazon stores or American toy websites, which is why I was asking.

BBTS carries all of Joytoy's stuff so if you want them, just go through that. Not worth risking getting fucked by the various Aliexpress and Amazon listings imo. That being said I think Joytoy mechs fucking suck and gave them 2 years to improve and came back to try again. Strongly recommend against it. Too tight rachets, awful creaky joints that are either way too tight or way too loose, or sometimes glued into place for some reason? Awful paint and general QC all over. Least their 1/24 line. Haven't tried the newer larger scales and don't intend to.

I did some deep research into it. Supposedly a lot of small shipments like toys and shit get shipped on domestic flights cargo with EMS and SAL. Because Japan cant get its Covid situation together and Canada's tight restrictions, the volume of domestic flights have not reached pre Covid levels so there's literally no shipping space on planes to get shit over here. Which is why it's still suspended.
