>>10042792Here's the deal. All current MP gun Megatrons suck. All of them. Even the ones that do something right still suck because they fuck something else up in a big way. Now, you bitch that gun mode creates an annoying transformation, and technically you're not wrong because thus far, everyone save for MT has had an obnoxious transformation (but MT doesn't even fit in with anything because it's as stylized as a fucking Revoltech).
I provide you with a perfect counterpoint: MS Doomsday. It's a Legends scale figure yet it nails the clean look, proportions, and has a easy to understand transformation. The problem with it, however, is twofold. 1. It's legends scale, not MP, so it doesn't really solve the problem and 2. the size couple with MS's nylon materials actually gets in the way of what is otherwise a pretty clear and easy transformation and actually can make it annoying.
So what is the solution here? MS just needs to give it the same treatment they gave their Prime and upscale it to MP, add some additional details and engineering steps to take advantage of the larger physical space they have to work with, and use regular plastics like they did with their MP scale Prime and boom. Problem solved. If they could just fucking do that, then nobody would ever have to make another MP scaled gun Megatron again because we would finally have THE definitive MP version of the character that has finally solved all of the problems of previous MP gun Megatrons. If MS were to do this, then I wouldn't care if we never saw another gun Megatron again and you can have as many tank Megs as you want. Until then though, somebody has to keep trying until somebody finally fucking gets it right, which MS proved is possible even at a smaller scale.
