The only reason these figures even have shin swivels isn't for articulation, but for helping Hasbro with reusing parts. It entirely benefits Hasbro and not the consumer.

Nah, only Part 3, most of Part 4, and Bruno from Part 5 had the weird shrunken heads, the rest of the line has been pretty consistent and well proportioned, except Phantom Blood Dio, who has a huge head and a giraffe kneck that provides next to no articulation anyway unless you turn the neck backwards, which then fucks with the sculpt instead.
