Hasbro studio series WFC is not the video game. The idea hasbro cares about some random video game no one played is absurd.

They're just making netflix figures, because thats what studio series is for. WFC netflix is viewed to hasbro the same way as an ova. Why would they put a video game in the "studio series". It doesn't even make sense.

They already have the megatron and prime molds, and they sell well whenever they are released.

I will remake this post during the official reveals to laugh at you autists, for thinking something less popular than machine wars would be released to retail

....not the other asshat, but I was a huge fan of the RotF game. The WFC games were fun and all, but it also felt super generic, like it was just another 3rd person shooter, only with "alt modes" that controlled exactly like the bot mode.

At least in the RotF game, all the bots played unique, they all felt like the actual giants they would be to humans and their alt modes had more of a purpose then mandatory on-rail action set pieces. Speeding down the road, bursting out of altmode to tackle another player, then dashing away again at high speeds never got old in that game. Especially when using Longhaul, running people down as a giant dumptruck, blasting them with dual flamethrowers to leave em defenseless and then annihilating everything that moved with shotgun grenade launchers, all while fully self healing to take no damage was way overpowered.

......as for toys, the WFC figures were all kind of nice, but certainly halfassed. Both Prime and Megatron could've been all time classics had they been voyagers however. Especially that first design prime, that damn thing is an engineering marvel.

I'll say it wasn't very popular, but I remember playing it back when it came out. My thoughts, best Transformers thing, period, better than any of the cartoons, comics, movies, whatever. Excellent game, the sequel was pretty damn good too. Again, not a lot of people played it, but the people who did absolutely recognized it as a great game.

I kinda wish I grabbed the yellow repaint of the original RotF Long Haul as he was a direct reference to the game. But I am *super* happy Sideways finally got a decent figure, he was one of my mains and I just loved watching heads pop off from half a map away using him.

ROTF is literally one of my favorite video games of all time. Massively under appreciated. The gameplay would still hold up today and I have been waiting all this time from remake it. All they need to do is rerelease it with all G1 characters
