He unironcicly believes the state should take control of the toy industry and only give toys to the most deserving and most in need. He also said that Joe Biden should issue debt forgiveness for the Jabba the Hutt Sail Barge, since he couldn't get one at a price he felt he wanted to pay and doesn't want to pay aftermarket prices.

Companies or just people in general have been banking on nostalgia for centuries, the art world has entire eras dedicated to recreating older styles of work like Neo gothic, fashion from older generations comes back, a single movie about disco can refrigerate the music genre.
Nostalgia is a core human concept.

I've almost signed up the last two application periods just because of this shit. Like you said, if you can pick the board you nanny for, keeping /toy/ clean shouldn't be the hard.
