>>10086268It's not that these aren't a good idea, but it bothers me how much the clip on parts screw up the proportions. I have that quick change Superman and like a lot of the Kenner figures with that gimmick the spring loaded head that prevents neck articulation worries me. I know it's considered a bad idea to do figures that are just guys in suits, because kids don't buy them, but I'm sure that's less of a concern for adult collector lines, which the McFarlane Super Powers line still basically is.
That being said I also wouldn't be opposed to figures like Clark and Bruce being online exclusives or hell even mail-aways that require proof of purchase, Maybe even make them as a multi-pack or put them in small playsets. I'd buy a Batman playset that was a Batcomputer, some stairs on one side and a change room on the other. Or maybe a larger Daily Planet playset which is two desks, Perry White's office, and it comes with Perry White, Lois, and Clark. Maybe there's an elevator or supply closet, you put Clark in there, turn the playset around where it looks like the roof, you lift a handle and Superman comes out the top.
Could even do a smaller playset that comes with a "broken" brick wall that has a carboard insert picture of a bank vault busted open, or destroyed jail cell (hell have multiple inserts with different scenes) and a phone booth that Clark can change in, you could have it come with Jimmy Olson too.
I've made myself sad now because I got really excited thinking about these and they'll probably never happen.
